Key to this system is its patented locking mechanism which, once locked, gives the sleeve its structural strength and presses the rubber gasket against the inner pipe wall.
The Quick-Lock System is effective at repairing cracks, fragmentation, leaking joints, root intrusion and many other pipe defects, as well as for closing
abandoned laterals. In addition to solving the immediate problem, the
strong, medical grade stainless steel sleeve reinforces the pipe, thus increasing its structural integrity to guard against future issues.
This reinforcing of the pipe is especially beneficial under infrastructure such as roadways or other improvements. The Quick-Lock system uses a mechanical locking system to permanently anchor the sleeve in place eliminating the need for
costly and messy adhesives.
In addition, the Quick-Lock system can be deployed without interruption of flow. Redundant sealing rings at both
ends of the outside diameter of the sleeve eliminate infiltration and
exfiltration. Repairs that formerly took all day and required heavy
equipment digs can now be done in a fraction of the time utilizing your
existing camera and tractor system for deployment.
Typical Reasons for Pipe Damage
In most cases the pipes are damaged by inadequate sealings, tectonics and the strain by dynamic traffic. Quick-Lock is logically constructed to be durably flexible.
Statics
By using Quick-Lock gaskets, the pipe's stability is absolutely reconstructed. This has been confirmed by static calculations as well as via a series of detailed tests.
Requirements
To put the Quick-Lock gaskets into place you only need a camera, a small compressor and the Quick-Lock packer.
Many Advantages to the System
Bracing is completely mechanical, with no additional chemical products that break down over time -- such as glues, laminates or resins -- are necessary. Another advantage is the complete repair is independent from any chemical reaction time. The patented Quick-Lock-system guarantees a reliable compression of the duroplastic sealing. It is a traditional sealing concept, which has been used successfully thousands of times.
Universal Application
Quick-Lock is only system in the marketplace that is suitable for all types of pipes.
Top-Quality Materials
V4A high-grade steel and EPDM rubber have been successfully proven for decades in the construction of pipes and sewage systems. Plus, V4A-high-grade steel has a nearly unlimited stability. The duroplastic EPDM-rubber element provides a long service life, and has become state-of-the-art for sealing technology in the pipeline construction field.
Quick-Lock gaskets are available in diameters ranging from 16" - 20". Extra sizes, especially for plastic pipes with different internal diameters and for the rehabilitation of pressure pipes, are available upon request.
