The IMPAC compactors are manufactured to strict A.S.M.E. code welding procedures in a variety of capacities from 20 to 33 cubic yards. You also have a choose of right or left hand side pickup styles with many standard features that are considered optional on other vehicles. The IMPAC is quick, having cycle times less than 30 seconds when handling steel or plastic containers, from 24" to 55" in diameter.

The L'CAT leaf compactor is a self-contained system that mounts on a 33,000 GVW truck chassis with a cab-to-axle clearance of 180 inches minimum. Customer has preference on chassis configuration.
L'Cat offers a 27 cubic yard container with a hydraulic-powered packing platen that is movable through the full length of the container. The front of the container is pre-configured for the mounting of a leaf vacuum / blower. The machine offers an unloading door that unlocks and raises via sequentially-timed hydraulic cylinders. The hopper container is self-unloading, so no tipping is required.
A fully-supported expanded metal screen made from stainless steel encloses the full top of the container. This offers an open area of 60 square feet for low velocity exhausting of the air stream. A cleanout door, located on the right side, is equipped with engine shutdown safety interlocks. A cam-locking latch with padlock is provided to prevent unauthorized entry when the unit is not in use.
The hopper may be used as a wood chip container when equipped with optional chip doors; these are installed in the upper portion of the rear door. Bolt-on brackets mount body securely to the truck frame. The chassis-supplied power is utilized for DOT required running lights, brake lights and turn lights. Downdraft exhausts on the left side of body. This machine is designed to compress loads of dry leaves up to the full legal axle load of the chassis.
